Garden of the Gods is a beautiful, almost extra-terrestrial park.  There are many paved paths and good dirt paths for hiking.  Sandy and I hiked out there a couple of times during the visit just to enjoy the scenery.  I highly recommend checking it out.  There is a visitor center just outside the park, and the park itself is free.
